Educational Advocate
The Arc Mid-Hudson provides educational advocacy to identified students and their families. The Educational Advocate assists families with understanding special education law and effectively advocating for appropriate special educational services for their children with a developmental disability, living home full time, from birth through age 21. TBI Program
The Arc Mid-Hudson is the primary point of contact for information, referral, and support as a central networking hub for individuals and their families with brain injury in Putnam, Dutchess, and Ulster county communities. This program assists individuals and their families with understanding and navigating the current system of services available in New York State, offers links to rehabilitations services in your community and throughout the state, helps with NYS Medicaid Waiver program if qualified, and provides help and support with your school system’s special educations process. A support group for survivors and caregivers is held monthly in Dutchess County. County(s) Served: Putnam, Ulster, Dutchess
