Early Intervention Respite
Early intervention Respite provides 1:1 services for infants up to 3 years of age with intellectual/developmental disabilities or developmental delays. It gives an opportunity to the parent/caregiver to have a break from everyday routines from the individual. Our staff will provide a safe environment and may include social and community activities.
Day hours, after-school, early evening and weekend hours are available. Approved by Ulster County Early Intervention.
FSS Voucher Reimbursement
The Family Support Services respite reimbursement program reimburses families for respite provider costs. With the free time provided by a respite worker, caregivers have time to rest or attend to other needs. Families choose their own respite workers, pay them up front, and are then reimbursed after the service is provided and a voucher has been submitted. Individuals must be eligible for OPWDD services.
